How To Use A Gold Rush Nugget Bucket
The way the Gold Rush Nugget Bucket concentrates gold makes the final process super easy and fun. Simply pour the contents of the full-bowl into the gold pan and you’re ready to begin panning the super concentrated, gold-bearing dirt. The key to gold panning is to have enough water to float the lightest material in order to stratify the contents. Gently swirl the pan to peel off the lightest materials first, and repeat the process until there is black sand and gold left in the pan. Use the magnet to collect the black sand, and the suction bottle or tweezers to collect the gold! We provide all instructions needed for using the Gold Rush Nugget Bucket, as well as the process for panning, in the kit itself. We also provide video instructions our website as well.
Curious about how to use the Gold Rush Nugget Bucket? Just watch the video and follow the bulleted instructions below!
- Add a handful of marble sized rocks to your concentration bowl before you start in order to prevent bowl from “blowing out.”
- Scoop in dirt in the top screen and then pour in water.
- Agitate the mixture by hand as needed. The bowl will prime itself with the sand that is needed to create the "sand trap" at the bottom.
- Once the bowl is full of material, the kit is primed to catch some gold!
- Continue adding in pay dirt and water before panning the contents of your bowl. Pouring in more water will help make the gold concentrate as you wash the contents inside! Click here if you want to see how the Gold Rush Nugget Bucket works.
- Remove the top and lower screens as needed to clear material or look for possible hidden rocks, gems or even large gold nuggets. Some panners use a handheld metal detector to see if there is anything worth keeping in the screens first
- Remove your concentration bowl and begin the panning process.
